This week's haiku from the Editor & his cousin Rowan!
"Isaiah, Virgil,
The Sibyl: Heralds of hope
For the Golden Age."
Image: Isaiah, the Sibyl, & Virgil all foresaw a bright future of hope for humanity. (Digital artwork by the Editor's cousin Meadow.) Happy Hollydaze!
Image Description:
The Judean prophet Isaiah, the Sibyl of Cumae (in Italy), and the Roman poet Virgil all sang of a future Golden Age for humanity. Virgil synthesized Isaiah's and the Sibyl's visions within his Fourth Eclogue in 40 BCE.
