Happy First Day of Spring!
In honor of this special occasion, we have an original poem to share about the springtime!
“Hope Beckons: A Springtime Serenade”
By Starla Ambrose, Blog Staff Writer
In the cold clutches of winter,
We dream of what's yet to come.
Springtime's promise of rebirth
Resonates in hearts left numb.
Sunlight's gentle touch, like a caress,
Thaws frozen spirits' weary ache.
Hope takes flight on wings of light,
A harbinger of summer's break.
Rainbows reach out, vibrant hues,
From the darkest clouds they appear.
Seeking sunlight, they burst with delight,
Bright signs of hope after tears.
From the cracks of winter's cruel shell,
Hope seeps through, it will persist.
Seeds within the womb of Earth
Await the coming of spring's kiss.
A phoenix soars, from ashes freed,
Rising higher and stronger still.
Bright butterflies emerge, their grace,
Fluttering hope across the hill.
Nature's symphony, a sweet song,
Beckons the promise of tomorrow.
In the heart of spring's embrace,
Hope blossoms bright, with love's power.
